Whatif

Other people's blogs:

Ashley Daley's the lion, the witch , and the wardrobe. Great way to use different music and narrations.
Mrs. Hamilton's Baby Mine- interesting way of using personal pictures.
Kristen Wagner's a Family Story- Very interesting way of a personal story. I don't believe this was a great story for elementary school. I didn't enjoy this.
Madison White's Messy Room- was very creative and fun. I really liked her pictures!
Ashley Howden's Fablehaven Book Trailor- I loved the art. I was very impressed with the skill
Camren Heaps, Knowledge is bliss was very similar to mine, same author of poem, it was very creative.

Week 2 Technology is useful--- and hard

Here is the URL to my wiki: http://katiecampbell.pbworks.com/ YAY

The web 2.0 was a great way for kids to use technology and show what they are learning and what they are interested. It is a great way for teachers, parents, and extended family to keep track of their students.
Creating a wiki was a lot of work- getting familiar with the format took some time, but in the end, I feel that this technology is very useful and I really like it and, most of all, I plan to use it in the future.
GoodReads was a good way to get involved with groups and books. But I have yet to understand or appreciate its usefulness.
Diigo is a great place to stay organized. Today we use the internet and we use a lot of sources and to be able to access all of them, and the specific parts that you need, in one spot is great!
Google Reader is a very convenient way to keep track of and have easy access to all of the blogs in your life.

The Hardest thing, and most useful thing I did was the wiki.

Love Is a Strong Word

I love education because I believe that the future of human kind is in children- and it is our responsibility to ensure that the future is looking good. I want the same and better, life and opportunities, for my children, and so on. And I feel like I can best contribute to the future through education. I want to make a difference in the individual lives that I will touch and teach.
