The web 2.0 was a great way for kids to use technology and show what they are learning and what they are interested. It is a great way for teachers, parents, and extended family to keep track of their students.
Creating a wiki was a lot of work- getting familiar with the format took some time, but in the end, I feel that this technology is very useful and I really like it and, most of all, I plan to use it in the future.
GoodReads was a good way to get involved with groups and books. But I have yet to understand or appreciate its usefulness.
Diigo is a great place to stay organized. Today we use the internet and we use a lot of sources and to be able to access all of them, and the specific parts that you need, in one spot is great!
Google Reader is a very convenient way to keep track of and have easy access to all of the blogs in your life.
The Hardest thing, and most useful thing I did was the wiki.

Katie,
ReplyDeleteYou did such a great job with your wiki! I liked the video on letter writing that you included. It was very relevant to your subject matter. I know that it might be hard to think of ways to use some of these tools right now, but when you get out to teach you will find many ways to do so. Sometimes these tools will come in handy when working with parents. For example, you could use Goodreads to give parents suggestions on good books to read with their kids. Great job on this blog too!
